One of the more controversial office buildings in Prague is the dancing house. It?s also known as Fred & Ginger as the building has the appearance of 2 dancers in this case Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers. The building was a collaboration of 2 architects Frank Gehry and Vlado Milunic. The building replaced a former bomb site and was completed in 1996. It houses a Dutch Bank and there is a French Restaurant on the top floor. The neighbouring house, was co-owned by Czech ex-president Vaclav Havel, who lived there from his childhood until the mid-1990s.

Address: Tancici dum, Rasinovo nabrezi, Praha 2
Directions: Walk from National Theatre along river to south.
