Best Western: "Clean Rooms, OK Restaurant, Weird Ammenities" Grand Canyon National Park Hotel Tip by jcwarrior50

Our stay was good at the Best Western. The rooms were clean, but when we went down to use the amenities (hot tub, weight room, etc.), we found a large group of male workers who were showering in a small area linked with the hot tub. They were clothed, but being with my wife, it did seem a little strange to have so many workers in this small shower area. I'd hope that the hotel would provide a room or another area for their staff to exercise and/or clean and leave the ammenities for the paying customers. We left for a while and came back a half hour later. They were finishing up and we were able to enjoy the hot tub without an audience or a show.

Unique Qualities: Came in winter, so pool and outdoor amenities were closed, but we got a great price on a prime rib dinner linked with the restaurant on the first floor. A $20 meal for $9.99! And the Prime Rib was huge - this wasn't a 7 oz. cut! The exercise room was small, cramped, but adequate if you just want a quick morning workout before you leave. Hot tub was nice, when not filled with workers!
