"Lincoln Memorial" Lincoln Memorial Tip by jamiesno

Lincoln Memorial, Washington D.C.: 149 reviews and 302 photos

The Lincoln Memorial is one of the more grandeur memorials in the city with its Roman Architecture and a massive statue of Lincoln sitting inside. I managed to get a couple of pictures of myself in this area by volunteering to take some pictures of two South African girls that I had mistaken for Aussies.

From this memorial you get a bit of an elevated view of the Washington Monument and the Capital Buildings. Again it was February and the memorial was very busy that weekend with visitors.
