"Vietnam" Vietnam Veterans Memorial Tip by jamiesno

The Vietnam War Memorial I really wanted to visit. There is so much known and publicized about this war. There were a couple of vending businesses near the memorial where there was a lot of war memorabilia for sale including POW flags which was sad to me that there are still prisoners of war missing.

The memorial itself is one long black wall with all the names listed and some wreaths and pictures of soldiers have been placed at the memorial. While I was looking at the memorial there was a soldier there at the same time which made it more personal as well.

Address: 900 Ohio Drive, SW
Directions: Near the base of the Lincoln Memorial and the Korean War memorial at the west end of the National Mall. Located near Henry Bacon Dr.
