"WW II" World War II Memorial Tip by jamiesno

World War II Memorial, Washington D.C.: 75 reviews and 216 photos

The World War II Memorial is one of the bigger war memorials in Washington and it is very well done. It is a circular shape and has an inscription for all of the states and a Pacific and Atlantic side of the memorial.

During my visit in February all the water that is integrated into the memorial was frozen. After later visiting the Holocaust museum I felt the significance of this war much more.
