by Cristian_Uluru

The statue of Saint Lutgarda was erected in 1710 and it is one of the most beautiful of the bridge. It was carved by Matthias Braun. The statue remembers the famous episode of the nun Lutgarda that, although blind, had the vision of Christ and she kissed the wounds of him.
