"Admire the most beautiful view over Brussels" City Views Tip by DanielF

City Views, Brussels: 12 reviews and 33 photos

The visitors who did not have the chance to climb to the roof-top terrasse of the Museum of Musical Instruments will be equally content with the urban panorama which is visible from the Hill of Arts.

It is certainly not the most comprehensive view over the city, but arguably the most harmonic and post-card perfect. From this perspective, there are no traces of inappropriate buildings that disrupt Brussels traditional skyline. All you see are the beautifully landscaped gardens on the Hill of Arts and the City Hall spire emerging alone from a background of Flemish revival buildings. In the distance, your sight even reaches the National Basilica, standing on Koekelberg.

Come here in the morning, when the sun hits on the buildings in fornt of you and, if the day is appropriate, return just before sunset for a memorable experience.
