"Enjoy the Court's Hill" Musical Instrument Museum - Musée des Instruments de Musique Tip by DanielF
Musical Instrument Museum - Musée des Instruments de Musique, Brussels: 47 reviews and 99 photos
The Rue Montaigne de la Cour is one of the most attractive in Brussels. It descends gently from the Royal Place towards the Palace of Fine Arts and is lined with picturesque historicist and ecclectic buildings, including the famous Old England Store.
Since a few years ago, the terrasse that overlooks the Hill of Arts is ornated with the sculpture The Whirling Ear, a work of the US artist Alexander Calder which was originally conceived for the explanade in fornt of the US pavillion in the Brussels 1958 Universal Exhibition (the same one that brought the Atomium to the city).
