"Must-See" Charles Bridge Tip by mattalthor

Charles Bridge, Prague: 413 reviews and 765 photos

One of the best sights in town.

A slow walk over the bridge is an ideal way to kill some time.

There are street vendors and buskers, lots of tourists. The Vlatva rolls along fiercely underneath - its mesmerising. And the statues along the bridge almost seem alive.

At the "town end", there is a tower you can climb and look down over the bridge. It is a little cramped up top but worth the effort.

At the other end, you can walk along and find some nice pubs on the water front. I found one on the left and down as you leave the bridge, samll but very friendly.
