""Wanna buy a laptop for 50 quids!"" Pickpockets, Beggars, Crime and Scams Tip by Muarrij

Normally these dodgy characters roam around Oxford Street, Tottenham Court road and Picadilly - Soho areas. Avoid them at all costs no matter how appealing the deal might be. They are well known scammers and target students, tourists and the vulnerable.
They might even show you their goods and you might even see them box it for you - but these crafty little thieves will exchange the goods for bricks! Worse still they may steal your money or sell you stolen goods. There have been incidents where people who have agreed have not only had their money stolen but ended up getting attacked by gangs.
If someone is pestering you and wont leave you alone, walk in to a nearby shop and call the police - UK 999.
