"Explore the Sablon Neighbourhood" Place du Grand Sablon Tip by DanielF
Place du Grand Sablon, Brussels: 5 reviews and 17 photos
To the other side of the church of Our Lady you will find the Grand Sablon Square. This square and the adjacent streets are one of the most sought-after residential areas in Brussels. It is filled with trendy restaurants and brasseries, antique shops, the most exclusive chocolateries, and other quirky stores and elegant Art Nouveau buildings. With all these ingredients, the area enjoys an atmosphere of bohemian sophistification and posh easygoingness rare to find in other parts of the city, except maybe around the Chatelain Square.
The antique market which is held on weekends sells items with a superior quality than other markets, but prices are also higher.
