"Best Location - Jason Inn" Hotel Jason Inn Tip by mlwang
Hotel Jason Inn, Athens: 445 reviews and 6 photos
We booked this hotel through Dolphin Hellas a local tour operator in Athens via internet. You will get a better price from the agent compare to published rate.
We paid Euro76 per night for a room. Too bad we get a twin bed instead of a queen bed. Though it was a bit uncomfortable with the bed, but the location of the hotel are excellent, you will have a walking distance to Acropolis. In fact you can have a nice view at the roof top café. You can enjoy a cup of Greek coffee or a sip of red wine while enjoying the splendor of Acropolis. You just have a few minutes walk to Thissio Station and entrance of Agora Temple. Maybe just a 10 minutes walk to Monastiraki
The hotel is equipment with internet ready at the lobby. Although it is the only computer there, it is already good enough for us. As for internet access, of course you need to buy the access card for it. But for us, we use this computer for transferring photos from the camera to portable hard disk. Yes, we did bring a portable hard disk throughout our trip. You will never have enough memory storage in your camera. There are so many things to see and capture. Trust me ! !
Besides, the hotel also provide a very nice buffet breakfast. Especially those big big kiwi fruit . yummy ! ! ! that give you extra vitamin C to start the day in Athens
Unique Qualities: Great views, Breakfast, Staff are really helpful. Thanks to Nikos that give us a good direction to walk from Thissio station to the hotel. My opinion, Jason Inn is nearer to Archeology Sites compare to Attalos Hotel. You can have your view anytime just walk along Adrianou Street which will meet Monastiraki Square.
Address: 12, Assomaton St Kerameikos, 105 53, , Athens
Price Comparison: less expensive than average
Directions: At the Thissio station, turn left and walk down hill (up hill go to Acropolis)and just walk straight till you get a Y junction, you still see the hotel just in front of you. The road sign is a small blue plate that stick on the wall of the building
