This is a cracking bar/restaurant, a minor zig-zag from the Eastern corner of the main square, and well worth a visit both as a bar and as a restaurant. Unfortunately I didn't find this place until my last few days here in Krakow, but this could quite easily have become one of my regular haunts. The pub itself is quite spacious by Krakow standards with three main areas (including a No Smoking room!) on the ground floor and an upstairs gantry and when it is busy, it's busy with a good buzz and particularly friendly - "Good evening my friend, a large beer?" - proprietor - well worth a visit.

The "Dog in the Fog" of the title is in fact a beer produced by the Lech/Tylskie brewers who provide an alternative theme to the pub; the main theme being of course the Oldsmobile, and the great thing about the "Dog" is that it "never fails to find his way" - unlike me then!!

See tip in "Restaurants" for more.

UPDATE 2015 - Sadly the "Dog in the Fog" as a beer is no more but its spirit lives on - and of course there's plenty of other beers to replace it.

Dress Code: No particular code apparent but most customers seemed smart/casual.
