"Visit Spain Square" Place d'Espagne Tip by DanielF

Place d'Espagne, Brussels: 4 reviews and 10 photos

On his way to the cathedral, the visitor can make a stop on Spain Square. Although it is not very striking architecturally (it is rather the backyard of a few characterless hotels on Carrefour de l'Europe), you have a beautiful view of the old city from the top, with the spire of the City Hall in the middle.

The square is decorated with a replica of the Don Quixote and Sancho Panza statue whose original can be admired in Spain Square in Madrid.

There is also a smaller sculpture of the Hungarian musician Bela Bartok.

Address: Place d'Espagne, 1000 Ville de Bruxelles
Directions: Between Rue du Marché aux Herbes & Keizerinlaan
