"Flights to Cyprus" Cyprus Transportation Tip by george5b

Cyprus Transportation: 117 reviews and 113 photos

Getting a flight from Europe to Larnaca can sometime be a nightmare, especially if you want to go in the high season and don't want to arrive at 3 o'clock in the morning. If you're on a package tour you won't have much choice, but if you're travelling independently you have the following options :

Day-time flights

Aeroflot (Moscow)
Aerosvit (Kiev)
Alitialia (from Milan and Rome - although they always seem to be mysteriously fully-booked)
Austrian (Vienna)
British Airways (from the UK)
Cyprus Airways
Lufthansa (from Frankfurt, day time flight only once a week)
Olympic (Athens, Thessaloniki)
SN Brussels (Brussels)

Night-time flights

Air France (Paris)
CSA (Prague)
JAT (Belgrade)
KLM (Amsterdam)
LOT Polish (Warsaw)
Malev (Budapest)
TAROM (Bucharest)

CSA and Malev are usually the cheapest.

Flights to the Middle East usually leave late at night and arrive early in the morning (around 6-7 am). There are direct flights to Amman, Bahrain, Beirut, Cairo, Damascus, Dubai, Jeddah, Riyadh and Tel Aviv.

There are no direct flights to Turkey from Larnaca. If you want to go to Turkey from here you can either go via Athens or Beirut.
