"Dine al fresco on the Old Grain Hall Square" Art & Architecture Tip by DanielF

Art & Architecture, Brussels: 69 reviews and 177 photos

There used to stand a Grain Hall in this Square, but today it is an animated spot at nights with plenty of restaurants as well as the Fondation Jacques Brel.

Three of the gabled buildings on the square (main picture) are among the oldest in the city, since they date back to the post-1695 reconstruction. They are known by the following names: The Horn, the Golden Star and the Golden Key.

The rest of the buildings on the square are more modern, but also picturesque and they stand in great contrast with the large concrete building which was erected in the 1960s just behind them.

Address: Many to be found in Brussels
Directions: Located throughout the city.
