"Igesia De Santa Teresita" Colonial Quito Tip by malianrob

Colonial Quito, Quito: 182 reviews and 486 photos

This church is special because it is where my sister was baptized. It is located in the commercial are of the city and was constructed in 1938. To me it resembles the basilica to a certain degree as the architecture is a gothic style too. This church is home to the Carmelite Sisters.
I dont know alot about architecture but I know what looks nice and the churches in Quito are all so beautiful and so much thought and work have gone into these beautiful buildings. At night these churches are lit up and look so different, its a must see at night.
