Newsroom cafe: "Lunch and News go hand in hand" Newsroom Cafe Tip by HELEN

Newsroom Cafe, Los Angeles: 2 reviews and 0 photos

The Newsroom Cafe is located on trendy Robertson Blvd. across from another celebrity hot spot, The Ivy. If you're lucky, you may spot a celebrity or two. The ambience in this place is that of a newsstand. They offer newspapers, magazines and the latest news on TV and scrolling LED electronic message displays. We were there on a Saturday, in peak lunch time and were seated within 5-10 minutes.
Newsroom Cafe serves health conscious California cuisine and a wide variety of vegan dishes. Smoked tofu was a part of many dishes on the menu. There's also a juice bar that served fruit and vegetable smoothies and the bar has very creative, one of a kind alcoholic drinks.

Favorite Dish: We split an grilled artichoke and a goat cheese dip that was served with tortilla chips. Both were delicious. Though I've has a grilled artichoke before, I've never seen a goat cheese dip anywhere else. If you like goat cheese, you'll love the dip.
Overall, I thought the food was great and would definitely visit this place again.
