Chris and Kelly in the Samba Jeans Store
by Cham

Located in Camden stables market (the new section) this shop will brighten up even the very worst of the grey British weather. As soon as you walk in, the store is unmistakeably a mini Brazil and the atmosphere created by the decor, music, products, and the owners is like no other shop I've seen in Central London. Chris and Kelly who own the shop, design and import the products straight from Brazil and if you're looking for something a little bit different to the monotony of the High street stores or the ever growing similarity of almost everything in Camden, this is like a Diamond in the Rough.

The store caters for everyone... Brazilian football shirts to hand made jewellry, Bikinis and swimwear to some really wild men's shirts, Brazilian designed denim jeans to the very famous hand made havaiana flip flops (so comfortable). Unlike a lot of the stores in the stables market Samba jeans has a fitting room so you can try the clothes before you buy and the prices won't break the bank either.

The shop is open 10:30-6pm from tuesday-sunday.

What to buy: For Capoeiristas like myself they have a range of pants in different colours and materials with probably the best fit of any of the Capoeira Pants i have bought in this country. I wear these at the gym all the time too as they are so much easier to move around in than any of the pants from sportwear manufacturers.

What to pay: As much as you want to, but you will get a lot for your money here

Address: Unit 590, Stables Market, Chalk farm Road Camden
Directions: exit camden tube station right exit, then turn right and walk til you see the Camden Railway Bridge. turn left into the stables market from here, keep to the left of Gigamesh restaurant (large glass building) it's the 2nd or third corridor on the right
