The Central Post Office (Centrinis pastas) is a massive Neo-Gothic brickwork building which dates back to 1893.

The 43 m tall tower was reconstructed after WWII and includes a carillion of 48 bells which plays “Annchen von Tharau” on weekends and on public holidays (12:00 h – 12:30h).

Directions:
The Central Post Office can be found in the New Town at Liepu gatve, just next to the Clock and Watch Museum.
