Hotel Bait Bugshan Khaylah Village / Wadi Duan: "Painted Palace" Top 5 Page for this destination Yemen Hotel Tip by MichaelFalk1969

This hotel is a former palace painted in incredible colours, green, pink, orange, blue, you name it. It really stands out among the other cream-coloured houses of the Khaylah village. The staff is very attentive, the rooms are fine, with the one exception that they forgot to install western-style sinks in the bathrooms (no joke). From the rooftop you have marvelous views on the Wadi Duan. If you are travelling from Sayun through the Wadi Duan to Mukalla, it would be a good idea to book your overnight stay here.

Comparison: more expensive than average
Price: US$40-80
