Once you are close to the old Trento city center, you have better park your car around. Given that you stay at some distance from the very center, there is plenty of space to park. If you do not find any parking space available, that means that you are too close! Drive a little further off!

Trento is not that large and you can visit almost everything by feet.

Mind, the map given by the Tourist Office is not very clear. It represents in the same way wide an avenue (not very wide anyway!) and a "vicolo" passage 1.50m wide!
