Puerto Galera Transportation: 39 reviews and 28 photos

Travelling to Puerto Galera from Manila will take around 3-5 hours depending on road traffic. You can take your own car or a BLTB, JAM & TRITRAN bus going to Batangas Pier. If you're in such a hurry you can take the Passenger (FX) vans located on the other side of bus terminal along Pasay near Gil Puyat LRT station. These passenger FX/vans are using Star Tollgate an express way directly to Lipa Batangas going to port unlike other buses, but charging almost the same fare of air-con buses.

If you brought your own car, you can either park it in the designated (fenced) parking area, you'll have to pay on the day basis around Php200 though. Or you can bring your car to Puerto Galera, not advisable if your resort is far from the main road as there are no parking areas on the beach), you'll have to ride the Ro-Ro ferry, the cost of fare for vehicles is Php1000 up.

To minimize hassles in travelling you can make a reservation for the SIKAT bus & ferry, they usually leave from City State Tower Hotel in Mabini St., Ermita, Manila percisely 8am everyday. You alight at the port of Batangas for your ferry to Puerto Galera. The bus and ferry trip takes about 4-5 hours. Cost is approx Php1000 per person return. The ferry leaves Puerto Galera also everyday at 9:00am to connect to the bus in Batangas.
