Favorite thing: The Beelden aan Zee museum hides just behind the dunes midway between the pier and the harbor. To help entice visitors to the museum, they put out some artwork on the dune visible from the promenade. My favorites are the 23 statues of fairytale figures created by New York sculpture Tom Otterness. The largest of the statues shows the proper way to eat a herring.
