The guided visit shows you the history of this raising bridge. I like very much seeing the old engines located in the lower part of southern tower. From the beginning till 1970 the bridge was raised up by old steam engines feeded with coal in big cauldrons. Nowadays, this engines has been changed for another ones, with new techniques.
