There are several bridges over the Liffey, O'Connell Bridge is probably the most famous. The newest edition is the James Joyce Bridge which has been constructed betwen the Millennium Bridge and Heuston Station. The James Joyce Bridge is actually located in front of the House that James Joyce based his story 'The Dead': a famous short story that appeared in his first published (self-published) collection 'Dubliners' (1914)
