Day 9 : Melbourne

Next to the Kings Domain Park, there is the Royal Botanic Gardens.

There are maps available at the entrance (free), which might be handy, not to get lost as this a big garden.

There were lots of beautiful spots in these Botanical Gardens, like the Temple of the Winds, the Grey Garden, and the Ornamental Lake with is beautiful reflections, the cactuses in the Arid Garden, the big, old trees like the Algerian Oak.

We ended our Botanical gardens walk at the Observatory. Next to this Observatory, there is a big gift shop, were you can buy seeds of the most important Australian plants and flowers.

And from here it is only a short walk towards the Shrine of Remembrance.
