The Royal Albert Hall, dedicated to Prince Albert, is a beautiful circular building located in South Kensington. It was built in 1871 and is a major arts venue in London - hosting, amongst other events, the annual BBC Proms. Besides concerts, it has also hosted sporting events and even a circus. If you are not planning to catch a show here, escorted tours of the Hall are available daily (best to book ahead). Tickets cost GBP7.50 for adults (2006 prices).
