Alter of the Nations: "Where not to eat" Expensive Tip by magyarozag

Expensive, Rome: 3 reviews and 0 photos

If you ever go t the Alter of the Nations (also known as Monument to Victor Emanuel II, The typewriter or the Wedding Cake) and you have arrived on the roof terrace. The small cafe/Buffet has good snacks and drinks but at an immense cost. Around 10 Euros for two small glasses of Orange Juice. It is a lovely place with a great view but very expensive.

Favorite Dish: I didn't hang around long enough to know what they did!

Address: Alter of the Nations
Price Comparison: more expensive than average
Directions: On the roof of the Alter of the Nations in Piazza Venezia, next to the Roman Forum. You can see it for miles.
