"Cheap clothes with airconditioning" Platinum Mall Tip by jrs1234

If you're after cheap clothing and the heat is getting to you, then the Platinum Mall may be the place to head to - it sells a similar range of clothing to the Pratunam markets across the street, but in air-conditioned comfort. There are 6 floors mainly filled with small stores - most of them sell women's clothing, but I did spot some stuff for men as well. As with most malls in Bangkok, there's a reasonably priced food court as well. If you're coming from the Central World mall, this place is easy to find - just head north, cross the canal, and turn left into Petchaburi Road, a few metres along and you're there - the mall is huge and shiny, so you can't really miss it...

Directions: South side of Petchaburi Road - just north of the Central World Mall (across the canal), and just east from Panthip Plaza.
