Favorite thing: I'm embarrassed to admit that before one of the VT gang asked me why Milwaukee became the "brewing capital of the world", home to some of the largest brewers in the US such as Pabst, Schiltz, Miller and Blatz, that I really hadn't given it much thought. But I did come home and look it up now that my curiousity was piqued.
It didn't have to do with cost advantages for raw materials or labor
