If you are an Australian this is a must do for the following reason:

This tour includes a stop at Jimmy Barnes (Singer) from COLD CHISEL - KHE SANH.

Most Australians don't know the second verse to the National Anthem but plenty know the words to this classic Australian Bands song.

So if your a patriotic Australian you can Hum or sing this tune to your hearts content when you arrive there.

Khe Sanh was an American Army ComBat Base and one of the biggest battles was fought here between the Americans and North Vietnamese with a great many loss of lives on both sides. Very few if any Australian conscripts actually fought here. Canberra bombers operated by 2 squadron, Royal Australian Air Force, who flew air support missions in the area where the closest.

This tour is still worth it if your are interested in Vietnam War. DMZ stands for the demilitarized zone and you will cross the BEN HAI river which seperated North from South.

This was a day tour that cost USD$10.00

Which included the following:

1. Frame of Church
2. Dong Ha Town Village
3. Doc Mieu Base
4. Hien Luong Bridge
5. Ben Hai River
6. Cua Tung Beach
7. Vinh Noc Tunnel
8. Ethnic Minority
9. Dakkrong Bridge
10. Ho Chi Minh Trail
11. Rock Pile
12.Khe Sanh Combat Base

It included breakfast, Tour guide, entrance fee and A/C Bus.
