Doi Inthanon is the highest mountain in Thailand.

It was once known as Doi Luang or Doi Ang Ka.

The park spreads from the lowlands at 800 m altitude up to the peak in 2565 m, thus covering many climatic and ecological different parts. It has 362 number of bird species and is the second largest number of any national park in Thailand.

A visit to the Karen Village, Vachiratharn Waterfall and the King and Queen Pagoda is a must when you are at Doi Inthanon.

On a clear day, the view at the summit is awesome. Just get to the King's Pagoda and you can have a bird's eye view of the area from the garden.
