"Ungelt square" Old Town Tip by el_ruso

Old Town, Prague: 136 reviews and 248 photos

The little square behind the Tyn church was originally used by the German murchants who called it Ungelt. (It actually means "no money" in German and was supposed to ward off clueless thieves.)

Now it has been restored and houses shops, pizzerias and a Dominican monastery.
