When in Bangkok, do take the BTS Skytrain. The air is fresher from up there and you get to your destination in just a couple of minutes. The rate starts at 15THB up to 40THB (depending on the zones). Or, you can buy the one-day pass which costs 120THB for unlimited rides. A blessing really, as you won't get cheated as when you are taking the tuk-tuk or the taxi. Hop on and off the BTS station and discover the different environment each station has to offer. Although a bit cramped during rush-hour, the ride is very short and fast. If in doubt of where to go, just take the free BTS Skytrain map of Bangkok at one of the stations.

Address: BTS Building, Phaholyothin Rd., Chompon, Chatujak
Directions: The BTS Skytrain has 2 routes, the Sukhumvit and the Silom lines. The Sukhumvit line starts at On Nut and ends at Mo Chit while the Silom line starts at the National Stadium and ends at Saphan Thaksin. Both lines meet at the Siam station for interchange.
