Melbournites are proud of their local brew, VB. Victoria Bitter is not an English bitter by any stretch of the imagination. It is a drinkable enough brew and do not argue to the contrary to a native, unless you want to be in for a long evening! LOL. Each state serves their beer in different sized glasses. Victoria uses the 'pot' a cute little ten ouncer which is well made for 'swilling hour.'
