"When on Kangaroo Island, our..." State of South Australia Warnings Or Dangers Tip by richiecdisc

When on Kangaroo Island, our guide took us down to the beach. The waves were huge and he prodded the group to see if anyone would join him for some body surfing. I figured it was a once in a lifetime shot and though no one else went, I followed him into the roughest surf I'd ever been in. But just like home, the waves were clean and easy to catch. A couple times I nearly crashed into hidden rocks and when we got back to shore, he mentioned that the rocks were the least of our worries, the coast off Kangaroo Island is the most noted for white shark attacks in Australia. I'm one of the dots riding the waves if you enlarge!
