We were satisfied with our one bedroom apartment itself; spacious sitting room and a clean bedroom with a good bed. They offer all amenities you could wish like a microwave oven, fridge, full laundry facilities, TV, airco and so on.
Outside is a small swimming pool with a barbecue, a tennis court and under cover parking.

BE AWARE
This accommodation is located south of Cairns, more than 5 km's from the city centre. Although the website says there are several buses connecting Cairns Reef Apartments with the city centre of Cairns, we had 'problems' coming back in the evening. There was just 1 bus per hour and we had to take a taxi.
Also on our arrival at the airport we had to take a taxi, because shuttle buses just drop you off in the city centre. The same if you make an excursion; all the agencies/companies do offer a pick up service, but located outside the centre we had to pay a lot of money and would have been picked up very early, so again we took a taxi.

Cairns Reef Apartments offer very good quality apartments for reasonable prices (if you intend to stay longer than 1 day ask for their special rates).
Just be aware of the location outside the city.
