  The old port of Honfleur

The town of Honfleur has got two ports. The one where I arrived is the industrial harbour for cruise ships and cargo as well as industrial vessels. The second is a picturesque little harbour right in the heart of Honfleur. Many yachts are docked here and restaurants as well as cafes line the harbour promenade. A stunning place to relax and to let the world go by!! A recommendation try the oysters - the Normandie and Bretagne is well known for its Atlantic oysters! Also historical this port is of importance since many French expeditions started from here.
