The grand palace and the shrine of the Emerald Budda which is contained in the palace grounds is a must for all visitors in Bangkok

You get to see the Temple of the Emerald Budda, where only the King can change the clothing of the Emerald Budda. (this happens for the 4 seasons of the year.) Also included are the surrounding shrines that are just as lavish. No Photos are allowed in the main temple, but its ok to take photo's through the open door. (the one that I took got bad camera shake :( )

Also open are various audience halls, coronation halls, The kings BUS STOP. (actually a structure of stone steps to allow the King to mount his royal elephant) and many more things. Well worth the admission price, or tour price however you decide to do the trip.
