Mendoza Nightlife: 11 reviews and 15 photos
The hard lomo rock is the local, very, very local version of the Hard Rock Cafe.
Guillermo (or Guille, or Willy) the owner it's a 57 years old guy who spent almost 30 years of his life in Canada playing in several rock bands. Years after he returned to Argentina he bought the place where the Hard Lomo is to start a furniture sales business there, later, he closed the furniture shop and opened the Hard Lomo Rock offering to Mendoza a unique place for rock and blues lovers.
The Hard Lomo is a "hidden and secret place" for those who don't like the fanciness of Aristides street or the hundreds of touristy places in Mendoza, it's where locals go, where real people go and after going several times it's like Cheers "where everybody knows your name"
Every thursday night there's open microphone and not only microphone but also instruments for those who want to play (everybody sing, even GUille)
On Friday and Saturday nights there are live shows ($3.- fee)
