"Reginald's Tower" Reginalds Tower Tip by kevarms

Reginalds Tower, Waterford: 6 reviews and 10 photos

Waterford's oldest building (12th C.) and built on the site of an original Viking tower, Reginald's Tower is the only remaining one of more than a dozen that formed the city's defences in medieval times. Nowadays it houses a museum detailing it's history as a defensive structure, mint and prison as well as a little bit about the Vikings in Waterford.

Directions: At the end of the quays in front of the Tower Hotel.
