I will start by saying how some restauranteurs are very misleading. We arrived in Ulladulla and saw a restaurant named "The International Restaurant" on wason street. How misleading was that. We walked in and looked at the menu. It was all pizza and pasta and a sloppy dirty kitchen with a very rude owner named Tony. As a Tourist area you think people would be more friendly so we walked out.
We asked a taxi driver where we could dine that was good. His responce was i know a little treasure thats not good but it is exceptional in Burrill lake he said. So we went.
Laguna D'zur International as soon as we walked in we realised this had style. The chef kaibil introduced himself to us, very friendly and a great looking restaurant. We got the menu and here we were in our dream become reality. The menu is extensive with more than 20 different cultural cuisines from the entree's ,Mains and the desserts. We were served a complimentary appetizer before our bread, the service was excellent, the bread amazing with all its accompaniments. When entrees arrived we realised this was no ordinary eating place it was a true dining experience. Entrees were excellent especially the seafood trio and the quail.
main courses to die for, we were presented with a magazine to read (South coast Style Magazine) the chef and his was were reviewed. There were two signature dishes the middle eastern lamb and the duck. We ordered them and i have never in my world travels experienced such amazing flavours, and we didnt have to pay for salad or vegetables they were inclusive, and may i add not just steamed vegetables, roasted vegetables cooked in a claypot it was great. If i had to descrive the souffle that was served with the mango champage ice cream and handmade chocolates i would properly melt myself. Laguna is in burrill lake executing some of the worlds best food i would travell clockwise and anticlockwise to go there. The best restaurant i have been to in Australia.
If you havent been you are at a loss. Keep it up Kaibil you are a master.

Favorite Dish: Delicadesas del mar 9Seafood trio) excellent prawns baked with sundried tomatoes and coriander served with a scallop topped with pear and leek and a duo of fresh local oysters topped with lemon infused julienne oil. Excellent it was published in the magazine.
No wonder the duck was requested by gourmet traveller one of the best ducks.
