Alexander's pasta express: "Good Italian" Pittsburgh Restaurant Tip by estargrl88

Pittsburgh Restaurants: 131 reviews and 188 photos

The food is very good, with large servings. Lots of different pasta options, but just because express is in the name doesn't mean it's fast food. Besides the regular entrees, there is also the option of choosing the pasta type, sauce, and any other toppings. There is the whole dim lighting atmosphere, and a warm feeling. In the summer there is an outdoor dining option. There is a bar also. I can't quite remember the pricing, and while it is not the cheapest place to eat, it is by no means a very expensive restaurant. For kids, you can also order half a serving (probably smart unless they're big eaters).

Price Comparison: about average
Directions: In Bloomfield on Liberty Ave.
Price: US$11-20
Rating: 5
Theme: Italian
