"Peace Memorial Museum" Peace Park and Memorial Museum Tip by kevarms

Peace Park and Memorial Museum, Hiroshima: 129 reviews and 266 photos

If you only have time, or can face, one atom bomb related site this should be it. The museum presents the causes and effects of the bomb from a balanced view. Check out the watch with the time frozen at 8.15 (the time of the explosion) and there are graphic photos and models of how the victims suffered.

The museum can be quite crowded at peak times, and rightly so, but you may want to arrive early. Audio guides in various languages are available.

Admission is 50 yen for adults, 30 yen for children
