Do-able for hikers but not recommended. If you want to get even better views you can climb the rest of the northern peaks.

This means you will have to sleep near the Icefield just count...7 hours from the visitor centre - you reach the end of the trail, 2 hours to get to the root of the mountains where you can pitch your tent, make a base camp...and the climb itself another 4-6 hours.

Climb in small groups and do not forget you accessories. You also have to apply for a backcountry permit before leaving the visitor centre. It was dangerous but great memory, will never forget.
