Rock Bottom Restaurant: "Great local beer..." Japonais Tip by rafgys

Japonais, Chicago: 26 reviews and 37 photos

It's a very nice and big place... one side is more like a casual restaurant, the other is closer to a sports bar. In between both places they have the big copper tanks fot he beer. Yes, Rock Bottom is not just a restaurant... it's also a microbrewery, and a very good one!

Favorite Dish: I only had an appetizer, fried calamari with fra-diablo sauce... it was good, very good. My choices of beer were their home-made brown ale first, followed by their red ale. Both of them excellent beers, very nicely balanced.
