"The Eagle Gate" Top 5 Page for this destination Architectural Details Tip by Yaqui

This 76 foot 4,000 lb. bronze eagle erected on 1859 marks the entrance to Brigham Young's property at the mouth of City Creek Canyon. It stands out most definitely and I was amazed how massive it appears. I have never seen anything as ornate stretching across a road. It's most impressive!
