Embudu Things to Do: 5 reviews and 7 photos

We went on the night fishing trip and I caught a baracuda!! Which was then cooked in a garlic sauce and served to us the next evening (it was lush) very much like tuna but much softer. It was a laugh and we really enjoyed it.

We also took the shopping trip to Male which was good, we stocked up on crisps/biccies etc as we sometimes got peckish and refused to pay the prices in the shop. It also incuded 9when we went but check) a guided tour round male, our guide, showed us a few sights like the grand Friday mosque (built from marble its sooooo cool in ther)/ the Friday mosque (built from coral its wow), the presidents palce/national museum (worth a laugh for $3 entrance fee) its funny really u must go in if u go on a trip. The national park (about the same size as my garden) bu it was good and it?s a touristy thing to do.

The guide also took us to the shops that we wanted to go to, PLEASE remember to barter if u do, and walk away if u think it?s a rough deal? we did and had them running back to us to get us to buy, we got a lovely set of laquar boxes for about 12 when at first they wanted about 60?..
All in all the Male trip was worth going on.
We also hired the banana boat and had a laugh with some people that we had met.
We also went out on the island catamaran and were lucky to see loads of stingrays, it was a great trip and well worth the money

Address: all bookable from reception
