Rosemary's Thyme: "Quaint Neighborhood" Washington D.C. Restaurant Tip by Jase1177

Washington D.C. Restaurants: 649 reviews and 834 photos

This is a nice neighborhood bistro with a good selection of Mediterranean. Their happy hour special are especially good for DC. All bottles of wine are half-price, which is a good deal if you have a partner or two during the week. The atmosphere was intimate and has great windows on the corner location. You can watch people walking by the area. There is also a fair number of patio tables for those pleasant temperature days.

Favorite Dish: The bruschetta duo starter was flavorful; one with traditional basil and tomato and the other with arugula and shaved parmesan. I had a good-sized, tasty pastirma and cheese pide. from the extensive happy hour menu.

The experience here was an enjoyable one for a weekday dinner and wine with a special person. Give it a try if you are in the area.
